# Versioning

The contract version is a date, sent on Trlay-Version. Not a path major.

```http
Trlay-Version: 2026-09-15
```

The current version is `2026-09-15`. A request without the header is served this version. A request that names a version outside the supported list is served this version too, never refused for it.

## Supported versions

- `2026-09-15`

## Sunset

The version is a date in the Trlay-Version header. A request without the header is served the current version. Every version stays served for at least twelve months after the next one ships, and its last day is announced in the documentation and carried on a Sunset header for the final ninety days.
