Verify

Sellers and gateways call one endpoint and get an answer in under 50 ms.

A seller runs a gate before it serves. One call says whether the pass is good and what the mandate has left. TollRelay never charges and never settles.

The answer says whether the pass is valid, which organisation and agent it belongs to, the verification state, the mandate remaining, and a receipt id to write into your record.

Offline

Check the pass against the public keys at https://api.trlay.dev/.well-known/jwks.json. No call, no dependency on uptime for the identity.

Online

Call /verify for revocation, reputation and the mandate remaining. For a paid call, send the settlement reference; TollRelay records it and does not settle it.

Pricing

A gate's first 10,000 checks a month are free, then 0.001 USD per check to a million, 0.0005 to ten million, 0.0002 beyond.
